The Tennis Club Poggetto, born in 1949 and owned by the Cooperative Society Foundation Employees Officine Galileo, has been run since 1996 by the Amateur Sports Poggetto.
The Club is located in the heart of Florence, in Via Michele Mercati 24 / b, just minutes from the historic old city, surrounded by a large park of tall trees that make green lung in a quarter (n ° 5 ) densely populated.
The A.S.D. Poggetto enrolled since 2005 in the Register of Sports Clubs of CONI, and Sports Training Center (DAC), and therefore has the task of promoting the sport at all levels.
Puget Amateur Sports Association has over 350 members and the School Tennis sees every year over 100 students enrolled in courses.
The tennis lessons for children and adults, organized by the Amateur Sports Poggetto are managed and monitored by qualified instructor who also have the task of following the junior and senior athletes participating in individual and team sporting events organized by the Italian Tennis Federation (FIT ), and sports promotion bodies (UISP AICS, etc ...)
L'A. S. D. Puget has a large parking lot from which you access to seven tennis courts, of which:

Where you can relax with good books, enjoy snacks and hot and cold drinks from vending machines always well supplied, and watch the sports programs screened by a giant video.
The Club House has capacity for 30/40 people and is available during the opening hours of the circle, for birthday parties, private parties and meetings.
